THE WINE
2023 marked the inaugural vintage for Chesapeake Manor Vineyard, a year that set the foundation for our winemaking journey. We produced five distinct wines, each reflecting the character of our vineyard and our commitment to quality.
Our Grüner Veltliner and Chardonel showcase crisp, expressive profiles, while our Barbera Rosé and Sparkling Rosé bring bright, refreshing notes to the lineup. Our Chambourcin was aged in new American oak barrels, developing deep, rich flavors. In addition, we bottled a small run of unaged Chambourcin Nouveau, a fresh and vibrant expression of this versatile grape.
Each bottle tells the story of our land, our grapes, and our passion for winemaking – crafting wines with a sense of place.
